Electricity North West Group, which also owns the company responsible for operating the power network in the North West, has now launched Electricity North East (Construction and Maintenance) (ENECML), expanding its support for businesses outside of its traditional North West base. ENECML, based in Middlesbrough, will provide High (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) construction and maintenance services to customers on the opposite side of the Pennines, covering Yorkshire, Teesside and Northumberland.
Up until now, Electricity North West (Construction and Maintenance) (ENWCML) has been operating from their bases in Stockport and Blackburn, supporting customers including the NHS and large industrial and commercial clients with control operation maintenance agreements (COMA) and other HV and LV construction services.
With their expertise and previous experience of supporting customers across Northern England, ENECML can help businesses to install, expand, refurbish, or maintain their networks safely and effectively. Equally, their experience in helping businesses install their own power generation, whether that’s low carbon resources such as solar PV, behind-the-metre gas engine or fuel cells, ENECML have the capability to advise on how businesses can protect themselves from rising energy costs or how to decarbonise their own operations.
